Oh my goodness! I have just experienced a real hardship in my life! That’s because I had to meet with the debut of Spanish Antropomorfia. Reading a lot about the history of the band (in fact, it’s a one-man project), I have learned that this act was formed in ‘89 and the man behind Antropomorfia, Fernando Payer, recorded only one demo “Engendro” in ‘94. So what the hell he did through all these years? Only at the end of ‘02 he came back to record 14 songs on a regular longplayer. All right, it’s one thing which surprised me a little bit. Another thing is that a record company advertises “Engendro” as the album with music in the vein of Cannibal Corpse, Monstrosity, Deicide, Morbid Angel and Malevolent Creation, so when my stereo was ready to play I really waited for something brutal and interesting. Can you imagine that after three minutes only an empty laugh went out from my mouth? I have really been listening to many demo CDs from different exotic places which offered something way better than this. I only wonder how a guy who started his musical journey 14 years ago could make something raw and disgusting. I only hear simple guitar riffs, terrible drum machine and primitive interludes. Where the fuck are those similarities to those top acts from death metal scene? Even Mortician play more technical music than this pathetic Antropomorfia. Give me a break! Why the guys like Fernando reveal to the world such poor tunes? He even ruined a song originally played by Terrorizer (“After World Obliteration”)... Take this crap away from me!
